My journey in counseling has been filled with continual education, compassion, challenges and grace. I feel blessed to have a career that allows me to help others and learn more about myself everyday. Taking the first step in counseling can be difficult and I try to provide a safe, non-threatening environment to start that process.
I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Colorado Christian University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors since 2015.
I am committed to providing high quality mental health to those in need. I believe that concepts, treatment approaches, and research data from many different theoretical schools may be professionally applied to relieve a variety of presenting situations. I incorporate a holistic approach to encompass many areas of the individual’s life to help understand the larger meaning and tend to lean towards person-centered and cognitive behavioral techniques.
